THE
YOUNG EAGLES PROGRAM
The Experimental
Aircraft Association's Young Eagles Program
was announced May 13, l992. the mission to
provide a meaningful flight experience - free
of charge - for 1 million young people ages
8 through 17 by the 100th anniversary of the
Wright brothers' first powered flight (December
17, 1903). EAA President Tom Poberezny and
Academy Award winning actor and Honorary Young
Eagle Chairman, pilot Cliff Robertson flew
the first Young Eagles on July 31, 1992. On
Thursday, November 13, 2003, the Young Eagle
program registered the one millionth Young
Eagle and the December 17, 2003 goal was met.
EAA recognizes the value to aviation of this
program and will continue to support it for
the foreseeable future.
Since
1992, more than 1.5 million Young Eagles have
enjoyed a flight through the program.

Registration
Process
1. A parent
or guardian must accompany their Young Eagles
to sign a registration form.
2. Parent
will fill out the front and sign the back
of the registration form.
3. Return
Registration Form to Registration Desk volunteer
on the day of the flight.
CAUTION:
DUE TO EAA REQUIREMENTS, FAILURE TO
COMPLETE AND SIGN THE FORM WILL PREVENT YOUR
YOUNG EAGLE FROM TAKING THE FLIGHT.
